Robert Martin is one of the nation’s leading experts on violence prevention and threat assessment. During his 28-year career with the Los Angeles Police Department, he served as Commanding Officer of Detective Headquarters Division and Personnel Division. He founded the first Threat Management Unit in the country and was the recipient of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Service Excellence Award. He also guest lectures at the University of Southern California on issues related to domestic violence.
