Her niche is complex and rehabilitative dentistry and is honored to serve as Faculty for Clinical Mastery Series, curator for Restorative Nation, co-author a book, write articles, and speak at various dental events. As a mother to two beautiful girls, Nada is blessed every day to be able to see the world through the eyes of her little people.
90: Interview with practice owner & orthodontist, Dr. Jeannie Moody
Dr. Jeannie Moody was voted most likely to be convicted in her high school graduating class. Despite her rebellious youth, she went on to earn her undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Florida and her masters and orthodontic certificate from the University of Colorado. She is a thriving single mother to 4 year old twin girls and her 6 year old son and owns 2 practices. Dr. Moody has been speaking to women and other dental professionals about accountability, mindset work and vulnerability.
89: Interview with practice owner & orthodontist, Dr. Trista Felty
Dr. Trista Felty attended Villanova University, then Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry for her dental degree and her Orthodontic residency program. There she met her husband and moved to his hometown in British Columbia after finishing school. A part time faculty member in the orthodontic program at the University of BC and has a private practice in Abbotsford, BC, she dedicates her time serving on various dental and orthodontic committees and boards, on both the local and national levels.

Dr. Jennifer Kirwan wanted to become a dentist at the age of 8 years old. Dr. Kirwan is from Deming, New Mexico and went to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas on a full-ride tennis scholarship, then graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry. The juggle of being a mom during dental school, a military officer-dentist-mom, primary breadwinner business owner-mom, and wife have always been a delicate and dangerous balancing act. Dr. Kirwan and her husband have 4 children residing in KC.

Anna Yum is a premiere criminal defense and DUI attorney in San Diego. Many of her cases have been recognized and highlighted by the media. She is regularly called upon by Fox News, HLN/CNN, Discovery ID to provide legal commentary for headline cases. Prior to opening her law practice, she worked as a prosecutor at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, tackling a wide variety of complex criminal matters including Domestic Violence, Grand Theft Auto, Criminal Street Gangs, and Sexual Assault.

Dr. Rabie Shanti is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon-Head and Neck Surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania where he holds a dual appointment in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He received his D.M.D. from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and went on to complete his medical degree and OMS residency training at Rutgers University. He completed a clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at LSU.

Dr. Jennifer Hirsch Doobrow, a Board Certified Periodontist earned her DMD at the Medical University of South Carolina and her certification in Periodontics from the University of Alabama. Dr. Doobrow was selected as one of the Top 10 Young Educators in America and was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Fellow of the American College of Dentists. She has published articles and lectures extensively throughout the US on dental implants and periodontal regenerative therapies.

Francesca Mazurkiewicz is a travel writer and blogger who, for the last two decades, has been traveling the world seeking out meaningful and authentic experiences. She has been sharing her travels with her two children, ages 10 and 6, in an attempt to provide them with an appreciation for other cultures and a positive worldview. Francesca’s original blog, “The Working Mom’s Travels,” was launched in 2011 and has been featured by WGN Morning News. Francesca is a native and life-long resident of Chicago.
83: Interview with USA Olympic women’s team hockey silver medalist, Kelly Dyer Hayes
Kelly Dyer Hayes is an inductee of the Northeastern University athletics Hall of Fame and a former ice hockey goaltender. Kelly was a four-time member of the US women’s national ice hockey team in 1990, 1991, 1994, and 1995, amassing three World Championship silver medals. She is also one of six women to play men’s professional ice hockey. After retiring in 1996, she found a way to combine her passion for hockey and desire to help others by joining the Surgically Clean Air team.
