Dr. Rabie Shanti is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon-Head and Neck Surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania where he holds a dual appointment in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He received his D.M.D. from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and went on to complete his medical degree and OMS residency training at Rutgers University. He completed a clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at LSU.

She has published articles and lectures extensively throughout the US on dental implants and periodontal regenerative therapies.

Francesca Mazurkiewicz is a travel writer and blogger who, for the last two decades, has been traveling the world seeking out meaningful and authentic experiences. She has been sharing her travels with her two children, ages 10 and 6, in an attempt to provide them with an appreciation for other cultures and a positive worldview. Francesca’s original blog, “The Working Mom’s Travels,” was launched in 2011 and has been featured by WGN Morning News. Francesca is a native and life-long resident of Chicago.

Kelly Dyer Hayes is an inductee of the Northeastern University athletics Hall of Fame and a former ice hockey goaltender. Kelly was a four-time member of the US women’s national ice hockey team in 1990, 1991, 1994, and 1995, amassing three World Championship silver medals. She is also one of six women to play men’s professional ice hockey. After retiring in 1996, she found a way to combine her passion for hockey and desire to help others by joining the Surgically Clean Air team.

Dr. Maxine Feinberg, a Cranford, New Jersey periodontist, was the third woman to serve as President of the American Dental Association. She was the Fourth District Trustee to the ADA Board of Trustees and the first women to serve as President of the New Jersey Dental Association. She was the 2017 recipient of the American Association of Women Dentists Lucy Hobbs Taylor Award, its highest honor. Dr. Feinberg has maintained a private periodontal practice for over 30 years in Union County, New Jersey.

Dr. Miriam Perdomo graduated with an Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She continued her education at Boston University in Boston, MA and earned her D.M.D. After a successful number of years working in clinics owned by others, Dr. Perdomo-Watts was thrilled to open her own office in Daphne, AL in 2014. Dr. Perdomo is fluent in Spanish, and outside the dental office, enjoys attending her three children’s sports events and loves family weekends at the beach.
79: Interview with dentist and past first district trustee to the ADA, Dr. Judith Fisch
Dr. Judith Fisch attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC and then served 5 years as a lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps. Dr. Fisch is very involved with organized dentistry and is a past president of the Vermont State Dental Society and completed her term on the American Dental Association Board of Trustees representing the six New England States in September 2019. Today, she resides and practices in Rutland Town, VT, with her husband and 4 children.

Dr. Stephanie Mapp is a 1994 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She started her first practice 16 years ago and purchased a second location a few years later. Dr. Stephanie Mapp is also the CEO and founder of Mapp Your Practice, a company specializing in dental insurance solutions.
