96: Interview with dentist & Certified Professional Coach, Dr. Laura Brenner
Dr. Laura Brenner graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2001, then moved to Denver to establish her dental roots. She worked in private practice for 10 years until she left clinical dentistry behind for good. As the author of the Lolabees blog and “10 Reasons Your Dentist Probably Hates You Too,” she connected with other dentists who wanted more from their careers. This inspired her to become a Certified Professional Coach who is passionate about helping dentists find joy in their careers again.
95: Interview with Yoga teacher and Reiki Master, Amy Roulston
Amy is both a Yoga teacher and a Reiki Master and has committed the last 10 years to studying both extensively. Amy is certified to teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga and holds the Registered Yoga Teacher RYT 200 hour certification. Amy resides in Chicago with her husband Kevin, and her three children. Family life has given Amy a distinct perspective on practicing yoga leading her to study and practice pre/post natal yoga, Mommy & Baby yoga, and now Kids Yoga.
94: Interview with dentist & practice owner, Dr. Carla Cohn
Dr. Carla Cohn graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba then went on to complete a post graduate internship in Children’s Dentistry at Health Science Centre Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cohn holds an appointments at the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry and was recently inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Cohn has lectured nationally and internationally on risk assessment, prevention, behavior management and restorative treatment options.

Katie Leiva, is a Chicagoland native practicing dental hygiene for 11 years. With nearly 15 years of clinical experience, she has taken on various roles working with the Chicago Public School Sealant program to brand ambassador for GSK Sensodyne. She has spent much of her career in general private practice and has worked in periodontics, and pediatrics, currently working in a corporate dental setting. Katie is passionate about oral systemic health but postnatal care and the prevention of oral diseases.

92: Interview with dentist & practice owner, Dr. Crista Walker
Crista Walker graduated from the University of Alberta’s Dentistry program in 1998 and practices in Tsawwassen, BC with focus on family dentistry and functional medicine. On New Year’s Day this year, her office had a catastrophic fire and she suffered a total loss of everything. She has found a temporary home and is rebuilding from the ashes. Outside of work she can be found spending time with my spouse and kids, especially driving my twin 9 year old boys to their hockey games and competitive dance classes.

Dr. Nada Albatish owns and operates a multidisciplinary practice, All Smiles Dental Centre, just north of Toronto. Her niche is complex and rehabilitative dentistry and is honored to serve as Faculty for Clinical Mastery Series, curator for Restorative Nation, co-author a book, write articles, and speak at various dental events. As a mother to two beautiful girls, Nada is blessed every day to be able to see the world through the eyes of her little people.
90: Interview with practice owner & orthodontist, Dr. Jeannie Moody
Dr. Jeannie Moody was voted most likely to be convicted in her high school graduating class. Despite her rebellious youth, she went on to earn her undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Florida and her masters and orthodontic certificate from the University of Colorado. She is a thriving single mother to 4 year old twin girls and her 6 year old son and owns 2 practices. Dr. Moody has been speaking to women and other dental professionals about accountability, mindset work and vulnerability.
89: Interview with practice owner & orthodontist, Dr. Trista Felty
Dr. Trista Felty attended Villanova University, then Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry for her dental degree and her Orthodontic residency program. There she met her husband and moved to his hometown in British Columbia after finishing school. A part time faculty member in the orthodontic program at the University of BC and has a private practice in Abbotsford, BC, she dedicates her time serving on various dental and orthodontic committees and boards, on both the local and national levels.

Dr. Jennifer Kirwan wanted to become a dentist at the age of 8 years old. Dr. Kirwan is from Deming, New Mexico and went to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas on a full-ride tennis scholarship, then graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry. The juggle of being a mom during dental school, a military officer-dentist-mom, primary breadwinner business owner-mom, and wife have always been a delicate and dangerous balancing act. Dr. Kirwan and her husband have 4 children residing in KC.

Anna Yum is a premiere criminal defense and DUI attorney in San Diego. Many of her cases have been recognized and highlighted by the media. She is regularly called upon by Fox News, HLN/CNN, Discovery ID to provide legal commentary for headline cases. Prior to opening her law practice, she worked as a prosecutor at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, tackling a wide variety of complex criminal matters including Domestic Violence, Grand Theft Auto, Criminal Street Gangs, and Sexual Assault.
