Course Title:
THE ENERGETIC COST OF WEALTH
Course Description:
How do you strip away everything that is not congruent with your authentic self so you can embody the wealth you deserve?
As women, we are often taught that to be successful, we must embrace an abundance mindset as defined by our family, friends, and peers. We make vision boards, celebrate milestones with status symbols, and aim to achieve a perfect balance of work and personal life.
On the surface, it can look like we have it all. But are you attracting what you truly desire?
In The Energetic Cost of Wealth, Dr. Victoria Peterson will help you name your deepest desires, confront that which scares you the most, and create an environment that can help you shift your mindset so you can reclaim your wealth and self-worth.
Course Objectives:
- Identify the lies you tell yourself in order to become deeply authentic and truthful.
- Describe where courage can be applied to bring you closer to wealth embodiment.
- Understand how to face what is in front of you today without the attachment of what it was yesterday.

Girls Just Want to Have Funds
Course Description:
Let’s look at why as practice owners, we are so uncomfortable with talking about how to make a profit. Why is it easier to discuss the workflow of placing implants or a crown prep than standard practices of running a business or (gasp) discussing what to do with the income we work so hard to make? Yes, success is defined as so much more than our net worth but let’s not shy away from talking about what we can do to create additional revenue streams. Let’s explore some possibilities of what life can look like when it does not solely revolve around dentistry.
We know that dentistry is a unique career for so many reasons. It is demanding physically by the procedures we do, emotionally from patients, and taxing by being placed in a leadership position we often did not choose. We work hard, and the reward is high. Dentistry stands alone in its high-profit margin. The average net for US businesses across all industries is 7.71%, with 20% being considered a high margin. Yet in dentistry, the average ranges from 35-45%. What makes this so attractive is that it allows us as dentists a lot of flexibility in how we choose to practice and how to invest elsewhere. Let’s look at our options.
Course Objectives:
- Define themselves beyond dentistry.
- Learn how to explore other revenue opportunities.
- Increase their confidence and embrace their power.
About The Speaker
Dr. Kristine Aadland
Dr. Kristine Aadland is a self-professed dental geek. She is a lifetime learner who averages over 100 hours of CE each year and discovered early on that there was a lack of females behind the podium. This became a personal challenge for her as she not only started speaking but made it her mission to light the path for other women in dentistry to excel in the educational space. An equal challenge for Dr. Kris was to create speaking content that matters. She strives to increase doctor participation in CE by giving them content that will have an immediate, positive impact on their practice. Although she most often speaks about digital workflows, she also loves to share information on the business side of the industry. Dr. Kris believes in the value of transparency and collaboration and is determined to encourage other doctors to find strength and support in reaching out to others within our community. Although most days you can find Dr. Aadland either in her practice or on a stage, you can also find her at Titanium Winery in the Napa Valley. You might think this is a detour from dentistry, but the reasoning behind the investment you will understand. After years of hearing how patients hate the dentist, Dr. Aadland is excited to be in a business where people are excited to be there! Co-owned with her fiancé, Dr. Justin Moody, their first vintage will hit the market in 2025 and their hope is that you will enjoy it with loved ones and create lifetime memories.

Armed with a criminology background, and an understanding of healthcare practices, Susan became a Certified Fraud Examiner when a client’s office manager stole from the practice. About The Speaker
Dr. Julie Woods
Dr. Julie Woods has worked as a periodontist since finishing her residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in 2004. She has owned her practice for over fifteen years. In 2017, when she was at the height of production, burned out, and making less money than ever before. Dr. Woods was tempted to walk away from dentistry all together.
Thankfully, someone suggested she read Profit First by Mike Michalowicz. Within the book, Mike outlines a system which guarantees profitability starting the first day of implementation. She began working the system early in 2018 and has since paid off all remaining business and school loan debt (early), decreased overhead, increased profitability, and maintained her take-home pay without having to work more.
In 2020, Dr. Woods completed her certification as a Profit First Professional. As a working periodontist, author, and the “Profit First Dentist”, she educates others on how to be consistently profitable by helping colleagues implement the Profit First cash management system within their practices. Owners better understand their business finances, improve cash flow and ensure profitability. Dentists that take profit first, work smarter, rather than harder, which means they spend less time working in their businesses.
