Course Description:
As women, we often feel we must ‘do it all.’ Female dentists especially face unique demands, juggling a practice and business while providing physically and financially for their families.
They know that earning a high income doesn’t always equate to eased financial anxiety. This lecture will walk attendees through building a plan for keeping and allocating that high-income and building wealth for years to come. CPA Angie Svitak will empower females with financial self-care they can implement today to reach their personal and business goals.

About The Speaker
Angie Svitak, CPA
Angie’s passion for her work has helped her pave a path for success. An alumna of Sonoma State University, she holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting.
Her career began at Deloitte in San Francisco, where she was a senior auditor. She then spent four years with Burr, Pilger and Mayer as an audit manager, before relocating to Texas in 2009. There, she was a senior manager at Whitley Penn. With her long history in auditing, Angie was able to easily transition to Cain Watters and Associates as a financial planner.
Angie grew up near Santa Cruz, California. She spends her time outside of work baking, cooking and enjoying time with her husband and two sons. She’s a Certified Public Accountant, an Investment Advisor Representative, and a former member of the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council and the Texas Society of CPAs.

BRINGING SEXY BACK: NAVIGATING MIDLIFE CHANGES IN FEMALE SEXUAL HEALTH
Course Description:
In this lecture, Dr. Rahman will review some midlife hormonal changes in pre, peri and menopause that can lead to changes in your sexual function. She will outline ways to combat issues around sexual pain, arousal and desire as well as combatting changes in urinary system and how to improve your overall quality of life.
Course Objectives:
- By the end of the lecture, you should understand the hormonal changes that occur in midlife people assigned female at birth.
- Understand the steps you can take to improve your sexual health and the variety of treatment options available for those struggling in the midlife.
- Understand how to navigate and advocate for your own health and finding the right help when you need it.
About The Speaker
SAMEENA RAHMAN, M.D., F.A.C.O.G, NCMP, IF
A board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Rahman has tailored her practice to meet the needs of women for gynecologic and cosmetic services. After years of practicing obstetrics and gynecology in a variety of large academic settings and locations, she started her own practice – Center for Gynecology and Cosmetics – to focus on her special areas of interest to ensure patients have their best quality of life and to empower them to be better versions of themselves.
As for her academic appointment, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in downtown Chicago.
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Rahman attended Duke University for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology where she also specialized in Women’s Studies. She then continued in her home state at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her medical degree. As women’s health care and women’s issues have always been on the forefront of concerns for her, she moved up north for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Massachusetts. She has traveled internationally with the World Health Organization as well.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Through her research and dedication, Dr. Rahman is one of the few physicians nationally to receive the designation of ISSWSH (International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health ) Fellow (IF) and is actively involved with cutting edge approaches to sexual pain and sexual dysfunction. She is on the Board of Directors for ISSWSH as well as the educational committees for both ISSWSH and ISSM (International Society for Sexual Medicine)
Moreover, she is an active member of the American College of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Physicians, the International Pelvic Pain Society, and specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to chronic pelvic pain. For midlife women, she is also a specialist in menopause management with the designation of Certified Menopause Physician through the North American Menopause Society (NCMP).
