Tim Cluley is the chief operating officer and co-owner of Midwest Dental Equipment and Supply, with headquarters in Wichita Falls. Tim has spent the past 40 years in distribution, including the last 30 with Midwest Dental, during which he has managed many different segments of the company. Seven years ago, Tim began to focus on the growth and success of the private, independent dentist. His extensive research has led him to become well-versed in the nuances of private equity funded DSOs, emerging group markets, and group purchasing organizations.
Midwest Dental, founded in 1988 by Matt and Karen LeVasseur, now has more than 160 employees. It operates from corporate offices in Wichita Falls, and sales branches in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Midwest Dental serves dental professionals in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico with 42 sales representatives and 29 service specialists. It is the largest independent dental dealer in the Southwest.
