Dr. Grace Yum, a board-certified pediatric dentist and mother of two, founded Mommy Dentists in Business (MDIB) in 2017 after recognizing a lack of community and support for women balancing the demands of dentistry and motherhood. What began as a small Facebook group has grown into an international network of over 10,000 members, offering continuing education, networking opportunities, and a supportive community tailored specifically for mom-dentists. Dr. Yum's vision was to create a space where women in dentistry could connect, share experiences, and empower one another to thrive both professionally and personally.
