Mommy Dentists in Business is gearing up for our next clincal event with GC America! Come get clinical with us on April 23 and 24, 2020 while earning CE. It will be a hands-on experience with amazing speakers talking about some exciting new techniques and practices in the dental industry!
A little about Dr. Jeanette MacLean Budd
Dr. Jeanette MacLean is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, owner of Affiliated Children’s Dental Specialists in Glendale, Arizona, and mother of two. She received her dental degree, with honors, from the University of Southern California in 2003 and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 2005 at Sunrise Children’s Hospital through the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. MacLean has become an internationally recognized advocate and expert on minimally invasive dentistry, appearing in newspapers, magazines, television, and continuing education lectures on this hot topic. Most notably, she was featured in the July 2016 New York Times article “A Cavity Fighting Liquid Helps Kids Avoid Dentists’ Drills,” which brought national attention to the option of treating cavities non-invasively with silver diamine fluoride.
A little about Leslie Stevens
Leslie Stevens has been the CEO and President of Ortho-Tain for over 15 years and has spoken at numerous events including IDS Cologne, Greater New York Dental Meeting, Case Western Reserve University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Healthy Start courses in Dallas, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Columbus, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Irvine, California; San Francisco, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and Troy, Michigan. She will be speaking this year in England and at IDS Cologne. Leslie is responsible for the development of a sleep and breathing treatment with the Healthy Start system, a comprehensive system that addresses both medical and orthodontic conditions in children ages 2 through 12. An overall educational program has been implemented to educate medical professionals; pediatricians, ENT’s, cardiologists, neurologists, and myofunctional therapists. The Healthy Start system bridges the gap between the medical and dental entities to address these issues in young children.
