As we gather with our loved ones this Thanksgiving season, my heart is especially full. Earlier this month, many of us came together for an incredible international MDIB trip to London, where friendships were strengthened, laughter was shared, and new memories were made. I’m so grateful for the bonds that continue to grow within this community — a group of women who come from all walks of life yet share one common purpose: to support, uplift, and help each other grow.
During our time in London, one member said something that truly stuck with me: “It’s so great to sharpen our knowledge.” It reminded me of the timeless saying, “Iron sharpens iron.” That’s exactly what MDIB represents — women empowering women, pushing each other to be better dentists, stronger leaders, and more confident versions of ourselves.
As we near the end of 2025, I encourage you to pause and reflect on all the things you are grateful for this year. For many, this year has not been easy. Some of us have faced the loss of parents or loved ones. Others have had to say goodbye to trusted team members or endured dips in production. And as many of you know, we faced our own challenge when a fire damaged our Learning Center, displacing tenants and destroying much of our dental equipment and clinic space. But even in that moment, I found gratitude — gratitude that no one was injured, and that what was lost can and will be rebuilt.
Hardships remind us that even when life feels overwhelming, there’s always light on the other side. Every sunrise is a new chance to begin again.
At the start of this year, our theme was “Thrive with the Hive in 2025,” and I am proud to say that we truly did just that. Together, we have grown stronger, supported one another, and continued to embody what it means to thrive as a community.
So whatever challenges you’re facing right now, keep your chin up. Remember who you are — strong, capable, and unstoppable. If there’s one thing I know with absolute certainty, it’s this: MDIBs are resilient. We are a force. We rise, we rebuild, and we thrive, no matter what comes our way.
Because that’s what moms do.
Wishing you and your families a warm, joyful, and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving.
With love,
