Dr. Tontra Lowe is the CEO and President of Awesome Smiles Dental Center—a phenomenal general and cosmetic dental practice in Gainesville, Virginia. She is also the founder and Director of Education for Professional Auxiliary Training where she teaches dentists and their teams how to access medical benefits for their patients. Her virtual and on-site training modules, Simple Medical Billing for Dentists, have helped hundreds of patients receive benefits to help cover treatment costs in the mouth.
As a comprehensive oral physician, Dr. Lowe understands that the mouth is part of the body. As a published author of over 78 articles and an e-Book titled “The Hidden Revenue Source- A Dentist’s Guide to Simple Medical Billing for Increased Profit”, Dr. Lowe has shared with tens of thousands the benefits of medical billing in the dental office. As an established public speaker and educator, her ability to break down the subject matter into entertaining, easily digestible pieces of information is always a huge hit with students. As an Army Veteran, she understands the importance of proper training and getting it done right with clear learning objectives that lead to success.
Dr. Lowe and her husband, Jay, have two boys—Dr. Malik Lowe, also a dentist, and Malcolm Lowe, Esq.—a recent graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. In her spare time, she likes to travel and entertain.
